The University Police Department is a service-oriented law enforcement agency responsible for providing a full range of law enforcement and security services to the campus of Western Carolina University. We are also responsible for administering the campus parking and traffic programs.

University Police Department officers are certified by the NC Attorney General’s Office and meet all standards set by the Attorney General for law enforcement officers in this state.

Services

• Fall '08 Vehicle Registration
  
  All vehicle registration requests for Fall 2008 must be submitted online. You will need your BannerID and PIN in order to access the registration system. More information about this is available on the registration form.
  
  STUDENTS registering should pick up permits in person 24 hours after completing the online registration form at the OneStop Student Service Center in Killian Annex.
  
  Additional copies of the Payroll Deduction, Pre-Tax Waiver, and Pre-Tax Parking Fringe Benefit Policy forms are available on the WCU Controller's Office Payroll Website.
